How to use the rack letters effectively
Enter every tile in your rack, including any blank tiles as a wildcard character. The finder will treat the blank as any letter needed to complete a word, then show you which letter it should represent for each suggestion.
If you also know one or more letters already on the board that you could build off of (a hook), add those to your search to see combined plays — for example, adding an S to the end of an existing word like CAT to make CATS is often worth more than starting a fresh word.
Reading the results
Longer words aren't always the best play. A 4-letter word landing on a triple word score can outscore a 7-letter word played across low-value squares, so use the score calculator alongside the word finder to compare specific board placements.
Watch for words containing J, Q, X, or Z in your results — these carry the highest point values in WWF and are worth prioritizing when the board supports them, even if the resulting word is short.
